M30TP Aero is a next-generation timepiece, designed to inspire the observer to experience time in a unique and personal way. From the escapement to the calendar, every advancement reveals itself with clarity, every component displays its role, transforming the flow of time into a tangible and conscious experience, capable of resonating in harmony with those who behold it.
In 2018, the development of a new, groundbreaking mechanism began, designed to push the boundaries of traditional watchmaking. La Vallée entrusted the project to Luciano Sasso, Head of R&D, who together with the technical team brought a radical vision to life: reduce the mechanisms to their essence and create a movement with a completely new architecture.
The first edition took shape in the “Timeless Table project”, a watch integrated within a table, a unique piece where the mechanics lived immersed in the furniture. Building on the majesty and design of that model, La Vallée decided to create a second edition, the M30TP Aero, conceived without case constraints, fully free and visible up close, where every detail can be observed and appreciated in its entirety.
What makes M30TP Aero unique is its suspended aerodynamic framework, where every gear and complication is fully visible and integrated directly with the dial indications. Its harmonious structure invites admiration of a horizontal mechanical development, where each element follows a precise and coherent linearity, guiding the eye along its silhouette.

Symmetry is the guiding principle of the design: every component is perfectly balanced around the central axis. The six dials, designed with opposing windows, allow hours, minutes, and calendar indications to be read simultaneously from both sides.
All information is presented in numerical format and indicated by initials positioned on the rings, ensuring clear, immediate, and harmonious legibility.
At the heart of this watch lies a mechanism that transforms complexity into harmony. The movement is regulated by a five-minute remontoire, which collects energy from the mainspring barrel and releases it in regular pulses, ensuring a constant force to the escapement. At the base of the movement is a barrel with a 30-day power reserve, equipped with a dedicated indicator visible directly on it.

The M30TP Aero features a revolutionary patented perpetual calendar that redefines mechanical complexity. Unlike traditional perpetual calendars composed of hundreds of components, this system operates with only seven moving parts, including four gears, ensuring extraordinary precision and reliability.
Designed to be functional and intuitive, the calendar can be adjusted with a simple touch, forwards or backwards, at any speed and at any time, without risk to the mechanism.
It requires no lubrication and provides a seamless, effortless user experience, transforming the calendar into a perfect example of horological brilliance and functional design.
Shattering the boundaries of horological ingenuity: a huge 70 mm flying tourbillon, running magnetically suspended with no cage nor external bridge, powered by a five-minute minute remontoire and having a minute hand directly attached to its cylindrical spring.
Rather than trying to minimise the effects of individual factors such as the hair spring, balance expansion and oil viscosity, the trilobe balance wheel is adjusted to completely compensate their combined negative effect on timekeeping.

The minute hand is directly attached to the five-minute remontoire’s cylindrical spring and it is therefore driven gearless, employing what we call “elastic proportionality principle”, and avoiding important energy variations to the escapement.
